Our Revolution was founded by Bernie Sanders to take on corporate power, elect progressives, and fight for a government that works for all of us — not the billionaire class.

We surveyed thousands of our members, and these priorities rose to the top of the list. Our Revolution is committed to fighting Trump and the Oligarchs with this three-point strategy:

Elect progressive champions up and down the ballot who are committed to breaking the power of oligarchs
Get Oligarch Money out of Politics and eliminate in the influence of corporations, billionaires and consultants in our political process
Fight the Oligarch Agenda from Capitol Hill to City Halls, and fight FOR an agenda that delivers for poor and working people

MEET OUR EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Joseph Geevarghese, Executive Director of Our Revolution, has spent nearly 25 years building grassroots movements to drive progressive change in policy and politics.

After graduating from Georgetown Law in 2000, he led SEIU’s Hospital Accountability Project in Chicago—mobilizing over 25,000 low-income patients to take on health care price gouging and win industry-wide reforms, working alongside then–State Senator Barack Obama.

As Deputy Director of the Change to Win Labor Coalition (2007–2011), Joseph helped shape the Obama-Biden transition agenda and advised the White House Task Force on Middle Class Working Families.

He went on to lead Good Jobs Nation and helped launch the “Fight for $15 & Union” movement, organizing walkouts by thousands of low-wage federal contract workers. With allies like Sen. Bernie Sanders and CPC leaders, he helped win executive orders from President Obama that raised wages, enforced labor laws, and expanded paid leave for millions.

Since 2019, Joseph has led Our Revolution in the fight to elect progressive champions, take on corporate power, and transform the Democratic Party into one that truly serves working people.
